CMSA Brings Desert Classic Back to Globe

 

Apache Gold Casino Arena plays host to Classic and Southwest Regionals in a back to back competition week.

 

COWBOY MOUNTED SHOOTERS in the Southwest will have plenty of shooting to do when the CMSA brings its Desert Classic back to the Apache Gold Casino Arena in Globe, Arizona, March 10-13.

 

In addition to the Classic, the Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association will put on the CMSA Southwest Regional Championship the weekend prior, March 6-7.

 

The public is invited free of charge to watch the competition which starts daily at 9:00 a.m. The highlight is the Saturday night Top Ten Showcase that brings the event’s best professional competitors together to determine the CMSA’s best horse and rider. The Saturday event starts at 7:00 p.m. and includes the Cavalry Class finals, Rifle Class finals and the Colt Eliminator finals. Western vendors selling cowboy hats, boots, clothing and tack will be open for the duration of the event.
